Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade w/ Infused Agave – Color Changing Drink!

This simple and refreshing drink is perfect for hot summer days and it a fun way to entertain guests! I like to use CBG or CBN strains so you can enjoy more without feeling too messed up. Also, honey, maple syrup, and agave infuse really well with these types of strains. I often like to serve this at parties to give guests a fun and refreshing alternative to alcohol. I suggest serving with clear cups and lemon on the side so each person can experience the color changing magic! The tea itself is blue and the acidity of citrus raises the PH level of the drink and creates a purple, pinkish color. The tea itself has a nice mellow taste and pairs well with lemon on its own, but adding the extra sweetness/infusion adds an extra tasty layer that is easy to enjoy.

Butterfly Pea Flower Tea and its Benefits-

The Butterfly Pea Flower (Clitoria ternatea) is commonly grown in South East Asia and used for its medicinal benefits. It also is commonly used to naturally dye different dishes like rice or pastry. You can crush the dried flowers (or buy it in bulk) to make a nice powder you can use in many applications, including lattes! Not only is it fun to mix into dishes, but its also packed with health benefits. Butterfly Pea Flower is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory which helps stimulate blood flow and aids in digestion. Similarly to CBD and CBG, this magic flower calms your nervous system while producing an uplifting and positive effect on your mood & relief in your body.
