Infused Balsamic Reduction

An Infused Balsamic is a wonderful way to easily incorporate some cannabliss to any dish! The first step to this recipe is to make an Infused Maple Syrup or Agave. from there all you’ll need to do is reduce it down with a cup of balsamic vinegar. You can also simmer some extra decarboxylated buds &/or kief in this to give it an extra kick. If you decide to do this strain the reduction while its still hot into a heat-proof container and let cool before using or storing.

Cannabis Ingredients:

Strain of choice: I love CBD and CBG strains for these types of infusions.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Balsamic Vinegar

Recipe:

Infused Balsamic Reduction:

  1. Combine the balsamic vinegar and infused honey into a sauce pan. Bring to a boil then immediately drop it to a simmer.
  2. Let simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. You know its ready when you get a thick, even coat on the back of your spoon (nappe). It’ll thicken up more as it cools to be sure not to over do it.
  3. Let cool and store in a sanitized, air tight container. Keep in the fridge for up to 1 month. Let it get room temp before use.
